A person of lesser capacity has the goal of becoming happy within samsara. Our suffering mostly comes from our afflictive emotions and reducing them is the surest path to happiness. If we replace greed with generosity, anger with patience, hate with love, and envy with contentment, we are sure to have happier lives.
But this path is inferior because it does not deal with the root cause of our suffering, our bewilderment which fixates on the illusory dualism of self and other.
